In 1995 radio station WPFC 1550 AM (formerly WLUX) was purchased from Jimmy Swaggart Ministries.  1550 AM is a gospel radio station with a FM sound.  WPFC’s coverage area extends as far north as Woodville, MS, as far west as Lafayette, as far south as Napoleonville, Donaldsonville, and Morgan City and as far east as Hammond, Louisiana.

The call letters, WPFC is an acronym that states the goal of the radio station which is Winning People For Christ.  This goal is accomplished through good gospel music and the great teaching and preaching programs aired on a daily basis.

WPFC serves the community by supporting and sponsoring various community events and programs throughout the year. WPFC is owned and operated by Victory and Ministries, Inc. The owner and general manager is Pastor Ralph Neal Moore, Sr. Pastor Moore is the author of most of the station’s jingles and drops and is  responsible for most of the station’s  unique programming, that features both praise & worship music as well as teaching and preaching programs.
